惜食堂 Food Angel
「惜食堂」團隊致力向本地飲食界回收仍可食用之剩餘食物，通過嚴格的食物安檢程序，再經廚房烹煮成營養均衡的膳食，最後由物流團隊免費派發給社會上有需要食物援助的人士。
Food Angel rescues edible surplus food from different sectors of the food industry that would otherwise be disposed of as waste. Following strict safety protocols, the rescued food items will then be prepared as nutritious meals in our central kitchen and be redistributed to serve the underprivileged communities in Hong Kong.

重啟惜食堂一比一配對籌款計劃
Reactivation of the 1:1 matching of Food Angel donation
經歷疫情後資源短缺而暫停籌款計劃，我們欣然宣報，本屆賽事我們將回歸慈善初心，為惜食堂籌款。跑手報名時於報名平台認捐惜食堂的捐款，將由本賽會1:1配對認捐相同金額 *。
After riding the post-pandemic era with resource constraint, we are delighted to announce that we are reactivating the Food Angel donation drive. For every dollar of donation made by runners at registration, 1:1 matching of donations amount would be made by Victoria 162*
* 配對限於報名平台捐贈，未含手續費的金額．賽會提供的配對金額上限為港幣12萬4千元. The matching amount would only reference the pre-processing fee amount paid on the registration platform. The matching amount provided by us is capped at HKD 124,000.

Donation Drive in the past
2-28-2020: [ Food Angel - Charity Donation & Masks ] 慈善捐款及口罩交予 惜食堂
2020 年度各位跑手的自願捐款，加上Victoria 162賽會的匹配捐款，本屆共為惜食堂籌得港幣 5,488 元，已經上週捐贈惜食堂. 感謝各位跑手的熱心樂助，惜食堂將直接郵寄慈善捐款收據予閣下登記的地址。
香港社會各層面均受到疫情影響，我們已支持多年的惜食堂服務亦有受影響，包括深水埗廚房、柴灣廚房及豐膳坊暫停運作，所有速凍餐及熱餐的供應改為派發一次性食物包(內有: 蔬菜/罐頭/丸類/五穀類食物)予惜食堂的直接受惠人士及有需要慈善機構伙伴的服務使用者，目的是減低他們每天到派飯點路程上受感染的風險，同時亦能照顧他們的食物援助需要。惜食堂總部、惜食分餉站及物流隊將維持有限度服務，因此有別於以往在三樓飯堂合照，今年我們與惜食堂員工改為在樓下相約交收。同時所有義工服務亦暫停，直至3月6日。
食物包派發時，惜食堂為協助受惠人士抗疫，亦在每週飯包內附有口罩，以保障受惠人士的衛生。因為受惠人士眾多，而口罩供應緊張，飯包所附口罩數量未必足夠7日之需。因此Victoria 162 賽會，將本來準備在賽事期間給義工使用及友儕間義氣捐贈的300多個口罩，轉交予惜食堂，以便透過惜食堂，盡快送達有需要的人士手上。
各界人士在疫情期間向惜食堂捐贈防疫物資、食物及餐券，惜食堂會轉贈給服務使用者及經各區的慈善機構伙伴派發予有需要人士。大家如有意捐贈各類防疫物資，可與惜食堂接洽。

Background
Food Angel is a food rescue and food assistance program launched in 2011 by Bo Charity Foundation with the mission of “WASTE NOT, HUNGER NOT, WITH LOVE." The program rescues edible surplus food from different sectors of the food industry that would otherwise be disposed of as waste. Following strict safety protocols, the rescued food items will then be prepared as nutritious hot meals in our central kitchen and be redistributed to serve the underprivileged communities in Hong Kong.

「惜食堂」是小寶慈善基金於2011年開展的首個食物回收及援助計劃，宗旨為停止浪費、解決飢餓、以愛相連。「惜食堂」團隊致力向本地飲食界回收仍可安全食用之剩餘食物，通過嚴格的食物安檢程序，再經中央廚房烹煮成營養均衡的熱飯餐，最後由物流團隊免費派發給社會上需要食物援助的人士。
